Recreating A Happy Place
Thanks for visiting my website. I hope you enjoy what you see. I am a Waterford girl and I love where I live. I love to recreate familiar places around Waterford, places that we may take for granted, walk past daily and don't pay much attention to, in a fun, colourful and nostalgic way. We lose that sense of wonder as we grow up, and my own kids made me realise that. They inspired me to look at my surroundings through their eyes, as if you are seeing everything for the first time, and to appreciate the beauty that is all around us. I hope my colourful paintings evoke happy memories and newfound admiration for our surroundings. Life is very busy sometimes and it’s nice to slow down and take it all in.
